Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Field Canvassing Team Lead, you will be instrumental in expanding our brand presence and lead generation in targeted neighborhoods. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Hiring, onboarding, and training a motivated team of Field Canvassers.
- Planning, scheduling, and managing canvassing routes, including evenings and weekends.
- Driving field-based marketing initiatives to generate qualified sales leads.
- Setting clear goals, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring your team exceeds quotas.
- Ensuring all canvassing activities are compliant with local regulations and permit requirements.
- Collaborating with other leaders in Operations and Installations to maximize regional market growth.
- Reporting lead generation metrics and ensuring a high return on investment for your territory.
Requirements
- Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing field canvassing teams, ideally in the direct-to-consumer sector.
- Demonstrated ability in sales, customer service, or experiential marketing.
- Track record of successful team recruitment, training, and staff development.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors, sometimes in varying weather.
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, solutions-focused attitude.
- Self-driven with a “win every day” mindset.
Desirable (but not required)
- Previous experience in door-to-door canvassing.
- Knowledge of home improvement products and services.
