Key Responsibilities & Requirements

As a Field Purchasing and Inventory Specialist, you will:

• Drive the purchasing process from start to finish, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Collaborate closely with the supply chain and site teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth project operations.
• Organize meetings, maintain detailed purchasing records, and oversee inventory management (including physical counts and inspections).
• Train and guide other team members on best practices in procurement and inventory control.
• Address and resolve administrative challenges related to complex purchases or technical materials.
• Ensure all project materials are accounted for, and prepare accurate shipping documents and inventory reports.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent international qualification) with 2-5 years of relevant experience OR 6-9 years of related professional experience in supply chain management, procurement, or inventory roles.
• At least 5 years in purchasing and inventory management, ideally within large-scale construction, energy, or industrial projects.
• Comfortable working with material storage and handling equipment in fast-paced, outdoor environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English; Portuguese language skills are a plus for Mozambique and Angola applicants.
• Willingness to relocate to Texas (relocation support available).
