Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Graduate Civil Engineer at AECOM, you’ll gain hands-on experience and take part in a wide range of civil engineering projects, from roads and bridges to water systems and urban developments. Your main duties will include:

• Assisting senior engineers with design and technical tasks for ongoing infrastructure projects.
• Preparing accurate drawings, calculations, and technical documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software.
• Collecting and analyzing project data from site visits and other sources to guide engineering decisions.
• Supporting the creation of reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and practical engineering solutions.
• Helping with project management activities, including tracking schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Staying updated on the latest engineering codes, regulations, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Solid understanding of engineering design principles and civil engineering software.
• Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Team player with a desire to learn, grow, and take part in site and field work.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites are considered a plus.
