Your Role: Responsibilities & Requirements

As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant, you’ll receive dedicated mentorship and hands-on experience from day one, participating in exciting projects for leading clients across sectors like infrastructure, energy, transportation, and development. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting environmental desk studies, site assessments, risk analyses, and developing remediation plans.
  • Coordinating and supervising field investigations, collecting and analyzing soil and groundwater data.
  • Preparing comprehensive technical reports and environmental risk assessments.
  • Supporting health, safety, and environmental best practices throughout each project.
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participating in AECOM’s structured Graduate Development Programme (ADVANCE), including technical training and leadership courses.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geography, Environmental Management, or a related field — preferably with a focus on contaminated land.
  • Practical geological, hydrogeological, or environmental science knowledge.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel, work outdoors, and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); data analysis and report writing skills.
  • A valid driving licence is an advantage.
  • Prior fieldwork or consulting experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous learning.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
