Key Responsibilities

As the Lead Piping Field Engineer, you will:

• Supervise and support subcontractor teams throughout all project phases, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and technical standards.
• Coordinate planning, construction schedules, and resource allocation to meet demanding project timelines.
• Monitor the installation of piping materials and equipment, ensuring accuracy with engineering designs and specifications.
• Lead efforts in resolving technical issues, collaborating with design engineers, field professionals, and contractors.
• Enforce corporate policies, work processes, and safety protocols on-site to maintain a safe and productive environment.
• Play a pivotal role in driving sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement on-site.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or international equivalent) with 10-13 years of relevant experience OR 14-17 years of relevant field work experience.
• Experience: Strong background in industrial/mining or metals projects, preferably with experience in contract management and direct hire crafts.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, construction management software, and familiarity with tools such as ACONEX, TEAMWorks, Bechtel Productivity System, and other automation platforms.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of industry codes and standards. Experience with Bechtel projects is a plus but not required.
• Language: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. English language stability required; knowledge of Portuguese is highly valued.
• Other: Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.
