Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and provide attentive, friendly service.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point of sale system.
- Manage cash transactions, ensure vouchers are processed correctly, and handle payments smoothly.
- Prepare and maintain bar setups, including fresh garnishes and backup supplies for daily service.
- Adhere to all applicable liquor laws and company policies when serving alcoholic beverages.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and diverse team culture.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a server in a busy restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
- Valid ‘Serving It Right’ certificate.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service, including alcoholic drinks.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and perform basic math for handling orders and payments.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) per airport security guidelines.
