We are looking for a dedicated Social Mobilizer to join a project funded by an international organization, focused on promoting good water-related habits and driving behavior change among local populations in Mozambique or Angola.
What You’ll Do:
- Raise awareness and educate communities about best practices in water use and hygiene.
- Motivate individuals and groups to adopt positive behaviors related to water safety and conservation.
- Organize community meetings, workshops, and outreach programs to share vital information.
- Collaborate with local leaders, stakeholders, and team members to implement educational campaigns.
- Monitor, report, and provide feedback on the progress of community behavior change initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in community engagement, education, or social mobilization is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead community members toward healthier habits.
- Knowledge of local languages and cultures is a plus.
- Commitment to working in the water, hygiene, and sanitation sector.
- Based in Mozambique or Angola.
